At last...

...the last workingday this year! Yesterday went boom, and there were shitloads to do at work, but the tip was grand:) Hopefully tonight will be calm. And then Im not working untill the fifth of january:) Hopefully Ill get to do some drawing and relax abit...

I was planning to go to svening to celebrate newyearseve but itll only be too much fuzz to get there as it is located about four hours outside Oslo. So Ill eat dinner(breakfast) at Mathias, and then head for Hjelmsgate 3. Think that will be swell as well:)

Anyhow; Happy New Year to all off you!!!

An evening...

...with Magnet ought to be a pretty calm afair, but with too much whiskey and gingerale inside it can get pretty exhausting... I managed to get late for the concert as it started ten sharp, but what I saw was great, Even Johansen spellbinded the audience with his sad songs and showing of his skills as a natural born entertainer. Mood was really good, and the audience even worked as a choir, with the headlight on the dylan cover "lay, lady, lay". After the concert I hung out with some guys from work trying to avoid this really insistant girl who never seemed to give up... So after four -no, I dont wanna spend the night at your place, she finally called it a draw... After shitloads of drinking I finally managed to get home and have wine nachspiel alone. The place looked like a dunghole afterwards, and sad part is I cant remember if it was any fun, lol...

Yesterday was pretty weird at work, with nerves strung as hell from yesterdays escapades, I'm surprised I made it through the evening... Highlight was me being called "hore"(whore) by a very little blonde girl who tried to enter behind the bar to ask me if this illegal club, "nirvana", was open. After tossing her out from behind the bar, I had to admit I didnt know if nirvana was open. Dont know if I became a whore for not nowing or for not letting her walk behind the bar... Anyhow, after this little conversation the girl turned around and mumbled; -hore!

Well, its cleaning up the mess and then head for work again.... Meanwhile today's titletrack is the wrens with "this boy is exhausted" from their "the meadowlands" album...

This all year...

...festival team is touring portugal, or rather southern portugal, algarve in february:) Gonna be swell to escape king winter for a week. First plan was mexico, but tickets got fucked, then we planned to go to istanbul, and suddenly ended up in algarve... Not as hot as mexico, but then I'm not very found of bathing anyway... The plan for this travel was mainly to have a goal to get me through evil wicked winter, and escape the "routines" here at home. Only thing planned so far is "bad moon rising", a grunge and indie club in lagos, else is for chance to decide...

Christmas past by pretty calm, in fact I didnt get out of bed at all on the 24th. Just saw loads of movies, 2 seasons simpsons, a bottle of wine and some cheese sandwiches... It's the fisrt time i've celebrated x-mas all by my self, wich was better than i imagined even without all the food and presents. I was invited to three places, but didnt bother either of them. Think this might be my new tradition:)

Last night I was out with Erlend, I started pretty early with an irish coffee, then over on beer and then shitloads of bruichladich(yummy!). This led to me being shitfaced about elleven and home in bed before midnight...

Magnet's playing tonight, hopefully that will be calmer...

Somewhat...

...alive, but not kicking; wel not that much... Yesterday was pretty long, working both as band contact and late shift in the bar. Point Shirley, a pretty good electro/rock band(check out the audio on their page), was playing a good gig. Only thing was the mood in the audience was abit slack. Dont know if that was because the band started late, or if people are generally tired from x-mas stress and the fact that it was the darkest day of the year... Anyhow sun has "turned", and lighter days ahead:)

The gig with johnny and einar went well, and a really calm and nice evening. You should check out number seven delis website and watch their latest musicvideo; its really sweet:)

Today its meeting up with erlend for some relationshipchattin, and then cato salsa experience is playing at work...

Weeeee!

Yesterday was swell! Datarock delivered grand!! Woke up abit tired after work and a bottle of wine as sleeping medication... Abit hung over I ran around with posters, but after a few fernets it got better...

When I came back to work, the place was crowded with familiar faces, and also old friends from my schooldays. Perhaps abit too much at the very same moment. But very nice indeed:)

First band off was ungdomskulen, they played well, but I was alittle disappionted; The songs had shitloads of cool parts and very nice noise parts, but they didnt hang together tight enough. After that datarock entered the stage, with the entire ungdomskulen, kjetil møster on a sax, ++ Totally they were eight guys on the satge(band is usually no more than three...) having an insane jam on the stage. Everything went kaa-boom and the place was boiling!! Afterwards I had some beers with some old friends, and managed to spend some time with ketil....

Today I woke up and went to work as band contact for Johnny(johnny hide, number seven deli) and einar(jim Stärk). After some dining to fix the shape, I went and did all my x-mas shopping in 30mins(!). New personal record on that matter.

Then to top all I got a phone from runar telling me that band of horses coming album was waitng at mono!!!! I've tried to get hold of that one for a long time, and voila:D Smootchas all over!!!!

zap!!!

Another week has alreaddy past, and no updates; where the hell did the time go? Well, mista speedking started out the week with the x-mas party with the job... And suddenly its sunday:O (or monday morning for the normally employed)

Its not as bad as it sounds, yes; I managed to get home from the party during the night, and no; I havent been hiding in the basement since...

The party itself was really cozy and pretty uneventful according to rumours and embarrasing moments... Only thing worth mentioning is that for once the vegetarian food was better, and more exclusive than the meat-eaters got, second; øystein in mariannes skirt, but, alas, I cant remember....

Tuesday, I got stuck in the world of warcraft, raiding three dungeons in a row before I got uneasy and out of cigarettes and went to bed...

Wednesday; too out of it to cope, I went to town, but got fucked pretty early and went home:(

Thursday I missed a debate at mono with this swedish artist who tries to create his own nation on swedish territory, and has just written this book on how to become an artist in three days, after the debate it was working, and a pretty nice concert mix with first the cheaters and then block 5. First was pretty plain garage rock and the second was a bit tortoiseish. So me and runar discussed to make this concept concert series with band s that shouldnt fit together, but does anyhow. Just to force the stuck up guys to listen to something great that they else would miss the grand world of good music...

Friday was worknight again, with the indication starting pretty early. Wasn't starting to work before eleven so I went down to oles new pub "taxi" and had a glass of beer with øyvind, ingrid, martin and loads of guys from the Jam! project. As they were going to "the thing" gig at blå, I went for dinner and then to watch the concert. It was abit disappointing as there were rumours that they had changed their name to "betles" and had become christian fundamentalists... Never trust a good rumour!!!

Saturday I was bandcontact for a musicschool showcase; It was five different constalations of pupils, wich were pretty good technically on their instruments. Only thing is it lacked each pupils joy of performing, and desire to express themselves. It had no nerve, and the thing that hit me is that they were training mere studiomusicians, no soul and no statement, just pure technicallities... After that I got totally smashed with Terje, as we started on more fernet branca than any of us could, and also should, get fit with. At around one-thirty I had to call it a draw, and Ive heard in the aftermath that this was clever as the bartenders were discussing denying both me and terje more to drink:)

Sunday night was really slow; but we managed to gain a good tip, even though the shape was at discussion throughout the entire evening....

Tomorrow(or rather today) is gonna be swell; Datarock and Ungdomskulen is playing at mono. Its gonna be grand; I get to see Ketil again, drink with the band and get paid as a band contact at the same time:) Best job in the world:P

Oh...

...just discovered that it was a week since Ive written here... The entire week has past by like a speedtrain, and suddenly I discovered it was gone. hmm, evil wicked time....
Sunday was calm, just laxed at home and ended up with a few beers with betales and jens at work. Monday was working night, tuesday I cant remember, wednesday was jam! at deichmanske/mir for immigrant kids, thursday was both jam! and working late, friday was oversleeping for jam!, then get øyvind by for the weekend and gt to lvl 60 at wow, then working late and meeting blinddategirl and nachspiel on top of that... Today is Runars birthday, I'm supposed to win the lottery again and then off to work.... Phew! that should summarize it...

On monday we're having christmas party at work, it's abit scary as there is a rumor that we are going to have a lecture on whiskey before the party starts. Last time we had wine and booze tasting it went totally wild. Situation at 16.00;
  • me, totally smashed, trying to escape to get some sleep
  • joachim trying to prevent me by chasing me topless in circles in and out of the bar and backyard, untill we toppled a table including spilling some guests coffee...
  • when I finally managed to escape to the backstage for some sleep, I was woken up by the boss as the entire board was supposed to have a meeting there(say hello to the new bartender:)
So Ive got to be careful on that whiskey! Anyhow, after that we've having this resturant for ourselves, also with free bar; spooky as hell:)

I also prmised viking and dcver to post a pic of my computer; well here it is....

Seems like...

...my sleepingpattern (if you can call it that) is back to normal. Last two days I think Ive slept like 20hours. At last!!! Been working the entire weekend, wich was really hard as I slept nada. Even had to drink loads of battery to keep me going. I really hate that; battery tastes like shit! Anyhow; its jam!-week, so i'm gonna fuck up my sleep, again, as Im supposed to get up before the birds untill friday....

First off for the bad news, chan marshals, aka cat power coming album was a total disappointment:( It seems as she is trying to hit a wider audience with some blues thingey wich not only destroys her previous original approach to twisted tones, and sad atmospheres; the most mainstream songs only sounds weird with her very special voice... Exceptions are "where is my love" and "hate", wich,at least, does not sound like an overpolished production. In total the album sounds like something joan osborne, or likewise, would have cooked together back in 96 to reach the a-lists on mainstream radiostations....

Good news is that I caught a rumor that High water marks have finished recording their second album; so now I'm only waiting for release dates:) Meanwhile enjoy Film school. Here with "harmed", and "he's a deep deep lake" from their selftitled album.

Ale, this ones for you:)

-The only nudie pic of me on the web:) enjoy:D

take this....

...and show it!!! Well, mista drink too much have had a pause from the bottle:) Thats right! The conclusion is ; NEVER again!!! The not-drinking-me showed himself to be this really boring, tv-watching, anti-social, un-creative, lazy, initiativeless noob... So, after concidering the pluses and minuses this guy made a healthy (and democratic[trainspotting]) decision to get back on the bottle. Thats probably the most creative thing this not-drinking-me could think of... It already feels better with a breakfast beer, and that fernet branca bottle øyvind forgot last week is gonna meet its destiny when a too soaked me gets his ass home from town later tonight. First Im gonna get some work for the jam! thingey at deichmanske done...

To summarize the last week;
Tuesday; was in the jury for zoom, watched three pretty good concerts, and it showed that I was the only one in the jury capeable of handling anything that differed from ordinary rock'n'roll(abit not true, but anyway; jury was much more mainstream minded than I had thought in the first place...)

Wednesday; opened at work, not to hung over as I was pretty careful on the drinking last night... Then it was back to garage to watch the last bands on zoom and then decide the winner... The winners were heroes for zeroes and the fernets(no, I did not vote for the last one:P) The hard thing about this was that each city has its vote, and its two clubs involved in Oslo, so me and pete from garage had to compromize big time to get our voting done...

Thursday; first day off the bottle... Insomniac-me saw "white noise", "the grudge", "fire walk with me", "frøken sverige", "king arthur", "mullholland drive", "sanger från 2. våningen", "tank girl", and "a series of unfortunate events" based on lemony snickets book. Still could not sleep...

Friday; Working late, as I was really tired after not sleeping the hours crawled by insanely slow... Felt like someone put on a ten seconds delay on my thinkin-circuits...

Saturday; Still not much sleep, and unwinnig the lottery:( Øyvind came by, and stayed over, wich off course ended in some drinking... Finally able to sleep for at least five hours... Woke up and played alittle wow.... Then still insanely tired I worked late night shift again...

Sunday; Slept about four hours, played alot of wow and then went to work to get cigarettes and a beer...

Monday; Slept six hours, I accuse the three beers for that one...

Tuesday; Uneventful and boring.... got to lvl58 on wow...

Yesterday; worked the early shift, and then attended the alarm-kickoff at work... Met up with Fredrick witch I havent seen in yonks, met this nice grafitiartist/indie-loving girl; a rare combination:) After that I hooked up with Christian, and saw serena maneesh playing a too short concert... Good one but only 20mins:( As we got pretty drunk, blinddate-girl arrived with some friends of hers... Fortunately it didnt end up in any making out this time:) so no drunkard anxiety for me today:)

my, oh my...

...The record and movie gigants pumps up; hopefully its bound to explode... After EU is issueing new anti-terror laws, the entertainment industries starts lobby for extended use of surveilance of their own consumers to keep them in business; Read this from BBC today, this is too fucking far to go... How is the industry gonna use this? Use intelegence resources to find out if some 14 year old girl "stole" "their" britney album, then use military and police to put her in guantanamo? That would probably teach her to spend her meager pocketmoney on their products! Or is it gonna be like sony and universal is going to get their own surveilance personel ? And after theyve discovered an "act of terror" against their internal economy, whos gonna follow this up? The police? Special task forces? That would certainly be great for our everyday security according to ordinary crimefighting! Or do they visualize them selves with their very own special task force put high above the general law? That would be really "swell" according to privacy policies! Who could imagine that the wicked world of orwells "1984" was to be run by entertainment corporations... Well to qoute the article;

"If they cannot come up with a business model which allows them to make profits without criminalising their customers, trampling over our civil liberties or installing malware on our computers then they do not deserve to stay in business..."

Eating breakfast...

...and trying to cope after meeting my big brother for the first time in months; hes been working on the local theater back in Mo i Rana. It got abit soaked, but it was nice to see him again:) But he is thinking of moving there permanently, wich is kind of sad; the distance(1000km, that would be the same as he was moving to somewhere like the northern part of Italy...) and the fact that Mo i Rana is the hellhole where I grew up and wish to forget exists... It used to be this dump of an industrial small-town, built on war-gainings from the ww2(yeah, thats where the old messerschmidt and vw factories ended) untill the government decided to put all the industry down , all at the same time. Over the night the "city" became a dunghole of unemployees and social cases; untill they made papershufflers of most of the population and put all the mean offices (all my evil mail comes from here) and the national library there... They also kept people employed by building lots of highways(!) in a community of about 25-30000 people, lol... I also met Mette again, wich was kind of funny as she was to babysit my brothers kid last time we went on a drunkard spree:) Also met lots of the regulars, and this very nice girl, Liv, wich was modelling for me acouple of years ago. Then it all went blury... Nice evening:)

Anyhow, Wolf Parade delivered grand on saturday:) But Christian insisted on vorspiel, so we got pretty drunk... Luckily he was the first to black out so now I'm able to invent stories to make his drunken nerves totally highwired:)

Sunday was slack; totally hung over I fell asleep at eigth or something watching "lost in translation". I think its perfect for a hungoverday, its so slow and murrays insomnia makes him as bad shaped as one self feel on a day like this. "Dead man" is also perfect for this scenario:) I LOVE that movie!!! Woke up at 3.00AM, and couldnt sleep anymore even though I tried really hard:( Ended up with playing wow, wtaching "closer" and "Frk. Sverige" and lots and lots of carnivale, before meeting my brother...

Tonight is the zoom-06 finals part one and Im supposed to judge... Have heard all the bands, but as Im not very into any of them its gonna be a hard decission, think I have to get really focused and stay away from the bar to make up my mind...

One good thing from the weekend though; Autolux:) I "discovered" this fantastic band on friday and its been on the stereo since then. Heres a little something for yah; "Blanket" from their new album "future perfect". Heres also a video thingey from their website:) Time to black out, just to make it real! Wooohooo!!!

The riots...

...of france reaches Oslo:) In the news today several papers could report of three cars lit up in suburbian Oslo... A week ago two cars where set on fire in the inner citys west-end. The revolt seems to be spreading across europe... Dont have time to write that much now, but check out setchy thoughts for some eyewitness reports and some decent oppinions...

And for ale; heres your surfs up!, from Ungdomskulen...

Woohhaa!

Still alive and kicking, though somewhat less hard... To summarize last week; lots of work, lots of concerts, lots of beer, and less sleep.

Thursday 10th; Was working during the night, as French Kissers where playing, or rather trided to play agig, while monodelica was spinning the decks. Everything that could go wrong went straight to hell! Lots of incidents; thefts, people causing troble, the power went off after the band peformed three songs, and came back so the band could finish up with one more. Great band, Norwegian electronica in french:) After some fights, an old un veteran with total paranoia went postal, and some incident with one of our regulars, miss hellish had lost her purse. So we had to listen to her whineing for an hour after closing time... I fist helped her bloc her creditcard, cellphone, and the opportunity to get a cab. After that I told her that she ought to report it to the police in order to get the insurance money to get a new cellphone; Then, really polite, I told her that we needed to finish up work, as we didnt want to stay there the entire morning. This turned me into a hell of a cynical bastard with no empathy at all, and the other guys at work was even worse. God I love when beeing helpfull makes you the target of the violateds anger....

Friday 11th;Was working the entire night, wich actually past by pretty slack; the place was stuffed but no stress in the bar, and no, nada, nothing trouble:) We didnt even have to throw out anybody at all!!! The scottish band The Very was playing; it was perfect for the evening; staright forward punk rock at its best!

Saturday 12th;Woke up totally hung over, and managed to swap my shift. Totally happy and planning to win the lottery, I had to go to work myself not a million richer....

Sunday 13th; Elias Jung was playing, and the day started up pretty early as I was band contact. The guys from Tromsø, seemed pretty nice and the gig went smooth. Here they are with "silence, come please me" and "brother, you're dear" Nice evening, and I managed to do some "decent" drinking as well:)

Monday 14th; I was working as band contact for white lord jesus. The band was one of the first goth bands from norway, and consists of Tristan Christ (Arvid Skancke-Knutsen), one of our regulars, and Tognazzi (Thomas Robsahm). This was the first time the band has played live in 20 years, so after the longest soundcheck ever, the band delivered a great concert and managed to get a lot more people than expected. Karl Petter also came by to watch the show and have a few beers. Then we got haunted by two very annoying guys from the southern part of norway(aka the bible belt...shrug!). We managed to get pretty pissed, but I had to leave kp alone, as these guys got too annoying.... Sorry about that one:P

Tuesday 15th; was Delawares showcase for BMG. Some misscomunications resulted in some vile janitors furious anger upon my very person.... This ended up with threats of 25grand in fines for violating the agreement with the landlord (oh yeah, lets lynch him! He owns like half the town, and is not an ideal worker if you get the drift...). Things seemed to settle and everybody was eternally happy after the gig(at least throughout the evening...). Except for some janitor who didnt answer his phone...

Wednesday 16th; was pretty eventful, first I was opening the bar, then there was litterature evening with five authors, and then King Midas prez; this english berliner known as Casa electro nova, total entertainer; if he had been a tv-shop host Ild probably buy everything they had to offer.... Spooky but really fun:) After that I got abit tipsy, and managed somewhat to make out with blind-dategirl, again.... Not very clever I guess...

Thursday 17th; The unbelievable thing finally happened; A day off!!! I slept for hours, saw lots of futurama, and played wow, and banged my head against the wall with anxiety after the blind-dategirl incident...

Today, friday 18th; Started out with a wake up to a call from Øyvind, who is staying for the weekend:) Started to clean up some of the mess I made throughout the week... Shit, gotta do some laundry, cut my hair and shave, then it would probably be smart to toss myself in the washing machine as well.... Anyhow; working tonight, and then theres this Wolf parade gig at garage tomorrow:) Its gonna be swell! I also got a phone from work asking me to sit in the "Zoom 2006" jury in runars place for mono; you can listen to the finalists on this page:)

Dead as a duck!!!

Been really fucked up today. Øyvind came to town yesterday; had to end up insanely drunk on nachspiel at my place... Think I managed to swallow half a whinebottle after not managing to speak; so today has been serioulsy slack;
  1. managed to use like three hours of moaning untill I actually got out of bed, while Øyvind sat online on wow..
  2. read an e-mail, and answering some phone from christian about how fucked up I looked yesterday, and confirming that I actually was alive:)
  3. Got a visit from Lasse Spang, wich was short but rather nice
  4. taken this quiz about seduction abilities; wich turned out pretty good(at least for my ego today...)
    Your Seduction Style: Au Natural

You rank up there with your seduction skills, though you might not know it.
That's because you're a natural at seduction. You don't realize your power!
The root of your natural seduction power: your innocence and optimism.

You're the type of person who happily plays around and creates a unique little world.
Little do you know that your personal paradise is so appealing that it sucks people in.
You find joy in everything - so is it any surprise that people find joy in you?

You bring back the inner child in everyone you meet with your sincere and spontaneous ways.
Your childlike (but not childish) behavior also inspires others to care for you.
As a result, those who you befriend and date tend to be incredibly loyal to you.

  5. now Im eating meat(!), and its pretty grose.... But it is totally necesary to get fit for tonights shift at work.... And Im not looking forward to that!
Last week have been rather eventful, On Friday I worked late, saturday was the most boring day ever; where the hell does all the nice people disappear and who the swaps them with the evil wicked weekend-crowd. Was all over the city, but there where noone I knew(or none I wanted to hang out with...), so I ended up with reading a book, and left for home pretty early. Sunday was better, as I went for a few beers back at work with Mathias, lots of familiar faces again... Børge even pointed me out as this girls dream-man; This was kind of funny cause I discovered, after Mathias had just explained how I would look in huge leather boots and a bikini, that they were laughing at me, but after the reason why they were giggeling became known it felt abit more comfy:)
Monday till today have been soaking. I havent seen the daylight, but insane amounts of bottle-bottoms, I even went on a shopping frenzy, and eaten almost nothing. Today I woke up with the crazy idea of having a "white"-month, but as the shape settled the month turned into a week, and now it have become a day.... Still not learning from my mistakes:)

Really tired...

...after some more meetings with bestfriend beer. Yesterday was a presentation of this years dugnad-festival. We saw pics from northern parts of uganda, where people have been living up to 12 years in refugee camps. After that girl from saskatoon played a very good concert followed by a pretty good one from napoo. Met Sakkari and played around with his homemade synthesizers, great geekish fun! Ended up at mono after that and cant remember walking home; again....

Anyhow found this nice album from "you say party! we say die!" Here with some "midnight snack". Well, gotta do laundry and repair yesterdays shape:)

Wednesday, November 02, 2005

been working...

...and working and working since thursday. Thursday eve was grand, totally stuffed and shitloads of tip:) Friday was nice and saturday was hellish; everything that could possibly ever go wrong went even worse... The evening was so fucked up that Im going to forget it, so no blathering or rumours for you! Sunday was swell:) I worked as band contact for the akron/family. The guys in the band were a dream to work with; really nice people and professional as hell. The concert was grand as they played relly great and almost for two hours. Got goosebumps all over several times. The live gig sounded like sonic youth meets low and joins forces with flaming lips:) Its doomed to be good!!! After the concert I got drunk with the band and some guys from work. Heres like an hour long session from WNYC studios, enjoy:) On monday I was opening the bar and working as band contact for vishnu, a pretty good rock band from Tromsø(northern norway). The evening turned out great as the akron/familiy guys hung around most of the day, and night... So I managed to have a few beers with them and marianne from work. As everything totally went more and more blury, I think I got into this biteing-competition with marianne, so theres is a slight pain in my upperarm, and some decend marks of her theeth... Yesterday was pretty slack; We had this lecture on reggae music and its origin, our sound technician even tried to name me "reggae-rune"; Ill get my vengeance; "puke"/"pule"/"pedo"/etc-petter... Remeber that youve got a broken rib!!!

As for other events this week; Why? is releasing their first album on the fourth:) It sounds like a merge of indie and hip hop. This does not sound as a grand idea, but it actually works out great. Heres "crushed bones" from their coming album "elephant eyelash"....

Woke...

...up pretty early, as it was pretty cold, even inside. The first snow came yesterday... But then the temrature fell and made everything cold and wet;( I really hate that... Anyhow went to garage to see Andrew Bird with Mathias and Lise and some friends of theirs. The support, crooked fingers, was pretty boring in my opinion... A Nick Drakeish bob dylan singing pretty uninteresting songs...
But Andrew bird was much better, alone on stage with a violin, guitar, a xylophone, and his whistling. He used the violin to loop up the rythm and then to make the melody, a then he sang and played guitar and xylophone while whisteling on top of that. Heres "the happy birthdaysong" from this years album "Andrew Bird And the Mysterious Production of Egg".

damned...

...my computer is filled to the brim:( So no new music for some days, or rather untill I manage to get a new harddisc... Happy news about that is my plan to build a "jukebox" out of an old radio and an old computer becomes more urgent, and closer to reality. I never understood why computers have to be so ugly... But this new project would fit right into my home:) My present computer is buildt inside an old wooden beercase, and it looks much better than any other caseing ive seen:)

Last days been abit wet... Pouring water outside, and pouring beer inside... Friday was supposed to be work night, but it never really came that much visitors, so I walked of at one'o'clock and then managed to get pissed pretty quick, went home around six, only to be woken up by a very drunk Lena escaping her maternal duties... As I was dead broke on saturday(yes, I managed to litteraly throw away all my money while cleaning up in my pockets) Tage came by, wich was really nice as he has relocated himself to copenhagen. After some show of with world of warcraft, we strolled down to mono, where everything merged into a blury soup of ...uh, I dont remember.

Woke up this morning to beer and noodle breakfast, finding that Lena was still on the run... Anyhow been playing computergames, listening to "commander venus", Oberst connor(bright eyes,Desaparecidos),Tim Kasher (Slowdown Virginia, Cursive), Todd Baechle (The Faint)& Robb Nansel (Saddle Creek)college band all day. Lyrics screams of fourteen year old love problems, but I think its really cool listening to connors voice before he got to the age changing his voice... Here is "its fun to grow arnamental peppers" and "do you feel at home?" from their first album "do you feel at home?"

Been touring...

with the jam! project again... This time we were denied on the schools of sandefjord, but we managed to join forces with a youth centre in town. This time the kids where a bit older, though fewer, so they managed to make some relly neat thingeys:) Also went to check out the city by night a couple of times. Dont know how the weekends are, but weekdays isnt much to brag about. The local heroes at the "cheap" hotelbar seemed to be the only one frequenting the bars;
Everyday scenario at the hotel bar;
  • 1 ex-un soldier, huge muscular guy with scars and all...
  • 1 macedonian with both a gambling problem and problems communicating with everything female, or close to female
  • 1 totally smashed woman having problems with the macedonian guy and the old grumpy bartender, who told her to shut up all the time

We also visited a couple of other places; the promenade wich was a really neat place, but the barmaid seemed abit overentusiastic and even said thank you with a huge grin as I told her to put my beer on øyvinds tab... At the 1. floor we where alowed to pay like 8.50 euros for a glas of beer and about 5 for a hot chocolate, and watch the smashing barmaid play with the latte-machine... On top of this we met this guy who tried really hard to be a fag, but he had been unsucessfull to this point, the next night we met him on a time-travel-back-to-the-eighties kind of place. Eye of the tiger on the deck and this could-be-the-hero-in-a-bon-jovi-video-guy behind the bar...

But at last, at home with shitloads of unanswered messages of every kind... Dont know if I like this modern age...hmm...dreaming about time travel. With a boozefactory, the hooverdam, and all the music I could stuff in my head a travel back to the stone ages sounds like a grand vacation...

Time to check...

...my head! Had these weird halucinations, or dream, im not very sure but it seemed real enough. Anyway I woke up this morning to a four feet tall jack in the box popping up in the centre of my room, this later slided into a figure of a fat man staring wildly before boiling down down to a frail, but happy looking woman who vanished trough the door... Dont know what to make of it. I know I live in a place suitable for a David Lynch movie, and that strange things happen here sometimes, but this has to be in my head. Anyhow, I cant seem to find out what my subconciousness is trying to tell me.

Well I promised you, at least puddles, some more carrisa's wierd songs... Its a hard choice between insanely amounts of good ones. Carissa's wierd is definetly high ranked on my all-time-favourites! Its also autumn big time and these songs are really fit for the season. Starting out with "the ghost of a dead hummingbird", and "daniel brooke's tiny broken fingers in the doorway" from "you should be at home here now". From probably their greatest album; "september come take this heart" (published before), "they'll only miss you if you leave"(also posted previous), "you should be hated here", and "sophisticated fuck princess, please". Ill also give you "sympathy bush" from "scrap book". Perfect moods for the the season... Youll find all the lyrics over at practically pointless.

cleaning out...

...all this shit from last weeks festival, (even cleaning your filthy socks Øyvind), listening to Angels of light and their "god damn the sun"; cant really get away from the lyrics... First time I heard this song was live in Christiania, copenhagen, in october last year. Anyhow heres the lyrics for ya;

When, When We Were Young
We Had No History
So Nothing To Lose
Meant We Could Choose
Choose What We Wanted Then
Without Any Fear
Or Thought Of Revenge
But Then You Grew Old
And I Lost My Ambition
So I Gained An Addiction
To Drink And Depression
(They Are Mine
My Only True Friends
And I'll Keep Them With Me
Until The Very End)
I'd Choose Not To Remember
But I Miss Your Arrogance
And I Need Your Intelligence
And Your Hate For Authority
But Now You're Gone
I Read It Today
They Found You In Spain
Face Down In The Street
With A Bottle In Your Hand
And A Wild Smile On Your Face
And A Knife In Your Back
You Died In A Foreign Land
And They Found My Letter
Rolled Up In Your Pocket
Where I Said I'd Kill Myself
If She Left Me Again
So Now She's Gone
And You're Both In My Mind
I've Got One Thing To Say
Before I Am Drunk Again:
God Damn The Sun
God Damn The Sun
God Damn Anyone
That Says A Kind Word
God Damn The Sun
God Damn The Sun
God Damn The Light It Shines
And This World It Shows
God Damn The Sun

Think its really autumn again, getting shit cold outside and the weird nostalgia is awake...

What the...

...hell is wrong with people... At work we caught a fifty year old, extreemly normal looking office guy drinking from the urinal(!) Im totally speechless...

Sleeping on the floor again...

Ouch...! Last days have been a mayhem of punishing both body and soul, and a step ahead in the line downstairs, as Ive only slept 12 hours or something since tuesday, worked everyday, and got really fucked up on beer and booze and beer and redwine... My home gives the impression of being the crimescene of 20 drunk teens with free beer and booze and no adult attendace for a week...

Well as Tuesday was this weeks day off, I ended up with drinking, again... Met up with Mathias at cacadou for a whiskey and a beer, and went further off to work. Got pretty drunk on an empty stomach (food is evil!)and met an old ex from when I was like 16 or something, calm evening untill; -Johnny comes over and asks me if I got my bag... No I dont, and he informs that this sneaky fucker ran down the road with it(YES! you read right; it happened again! lost one on monday with like 15 cds, and now this damned bastard tries to pull it the next day). So, furious and wild, I get the hell after, and tracks him down, gets my purse and confronts the bastard... He looked really scared, but I managed to stay agressive; -What the fuck are you doing? What the hell did you think was yours in that purse?!? Totally stun, he tries to say that he does not understand... So I interupt him with -fuck you! He tries to utter he dont understand english or norwegian, so I interupt him again, louder this time; -fuck you! fucking coward! You don't dare to rob people in their face with a knife?!? Gotta steal all my personal stuff for nothing?!? fucking coward!!! He tries to explain, but I cut him off with another -fuck you!!! you want me to sleep in the park?!? what do you need my keys for?!? He grows smaller by the second, and we are drawing more and more attention from passersby. He tries to appologise, but I constantly interupts him with loud fuck you's. The he suddenly tries to hug me(!), and says to me that everything is ok(!). Can you believe this sucker!! Very loud and clear I state that it is NOT, and tells him to get the hell out of here with the clear message that Ill wipe his butt on site, if he ever shows hes ass in my way, or at work again...

Back at work, I managed to calm down, and met øysteins friend, mette, wich Ive seen a couple of times before. Totally drunk I invite her home, and after trying to get there we surrender to gravity in a tunnel in the citycentre, probably the dirtyest place to crash in town... After managing to brake a bottle of wine, crawl around in tons of trafficdust, we manage to get home. Well home we keep talking untill the morning when I discover Im out of cigarettes and toilet paper and food. So I head to the shop to get some of all above, but end up with a sixpack of beers instead of food... So hungover I thought I should die, i went to work on wednesday night... Sat up after work with Øystein and had a few beers and managed to get three hours sleep before opening the bar again (to never learn from my mistakes seems to be of utmost importance to me:) After thursdays work , I saw Tim Scott (havalinas) performing, and met mette again as she dropped by work with some friends. This ended up in she inviteing herself to sleep over at my place after some beers on garage... As it seems to be impossible for us to actually get home in one piece (or rather two pieces), we managed to get stuck on the semetery for awhile, and woke up in a really hellish state just now, full of mud and cuts and bruises all over. Most funny though was that she felt so bad with her state as she was babysitting tonight, and guess who she was babysitting; my niese:) Yeah the world is big....

Working again tonight, so today is get-myself-together-day! Straight out my home, get a shower, and get a grip!!!

Ohoi landlobbers!

As I am totally drained, and hungover and extatic and whatever... Hmm, my shape is in total contradiction:) Feel energic and at the same time drained... Jumping, at one moment to the sounds of the beta band, and feeling low at the sound of sia. Dont know if I like the fact that realplayer is set to random. Last days been quite soaken in Fernet and beer and lots of redwine and cigarettes; the pinackle of happiness, lol!

In the news our jam!-tour is being attacked by evil wicked authoroties; police, majors, parents, principals, basicly everyone interested in the socialization of our teenagers to society... Two weeks have been canceled as principals on the schools have banned the project. lol! They dont appreciate the fact that we actually teach the kids to speak their mind; what would society actually be like if people expressed their view all the time?! Giving you a pic of evil wicked me teaching your kids to misbehave:) I even wrote "cunt" on the blackboard, just to make sure that they would get cronically damaged:P

Also some news of my own; the dramatic events that led to me being lifted of my bag for the second time this year:( Øyvind also got his bag stolen... What is it with simple thieves these days? In my opinion they have overated the "simple" part of it; why do they steal shabby old military bags, fucked up and dirty, instead of laptop or photobags that could actually contain something valuable, or at least something sellable? Well I hope you like the music, let me know and Ill burn some more for you:) Also met this shy, but rather sweet nurse (bad thingey is that she has to get up in the morning, 06.30, and thats when I usually stroll home from work...) Dont know if that is solveable....

Anyhow, strolling through my bookshelf, I suddenly remembered this nice little story

I think I could have fun as ol'dread capt'n Bellamy:)

???

Why is erasing desire seen as so important? If the subjugation of the self is the point of the self what's the point of having a self? It's like someone handing you a a leaflet which says throw this leaflet away!

YEESSSS!

Finally got it!, Been looking around for half a year for this very special album; ive searched and searched, with no luck this far; untill today:) Jenn Ghetto's(carissa's wierd, crictor) solo project(with Josh Wackerly and Creighton Barrett)and the album "sadstyle". Im euphoric, her sad, sad songs are so incredible beautyful. "sadstyle" is recorded on a 4-track recorder wich gives it a really simple, lo-fi gefühl. The other album from s, "puking and crying"(yeah I love the title!)is recorded in a studio, and in many ways its to much going on (I think the album is grand...)... On "sadstyle" Jenn Ghettos frail voice and guitar play comes more to its right, and becomes more honest...
Ill give you "elevator", "sometimes I feel like throwing up" and "anti-love song".... Cant get enough...

Nothing really...

happened lately... Been online on wow, ate, drank, slept, and work as usual... Ok, more online than usual though. Well mr Rokkum, I just mentioned you, and im gonna put out some pics from my personal quests to explore horde territory(for those of you totally not getting the point skip till next issue)

-me and ninjitsu got the idea of stealthing into the main undead city
-here we have just hijacked an enemy zeppelin....
-and yet another horde city under our feet; from the core of thunderbluff:)

(Hopefully I wont write more about wow, at same time; hopefully it wont be any whineing about it... or what kp:P)

Anyhow last days been quite eventless; tuesday was the worst concert ever! If you ever find out that Johanna Demker comes to a city near you; steer away! Take orphants on a field trip too a local farm watching the slaughter-season live instead! Its the worst band ever, or the band technically knew how to play, but as farr as imagination, exprementation, and creativity goes, they knew nada! The band consisted of more or less ordinary guys aged 30-40, who, quite extraordinary, didnt know who David Bowie was... (One of them actually asked; what are you playing, (the answer tells itself), oh, it was good... Say no more.... sad sad sad sad sad

Wednesday was work....

Thursday was locking myself up in my bunker with wow...

Friday; more work...

Saturday was the perfect saturday at work... Fun all night long, exelent dj, and no hazzle at all:) every saturday ought to be like that(except for the tip, it was really lousy...)

Monday I slightly worked as band contact for Wallpaper silhouettes, then got drunk with Lasse spang, Pelle, Lena, Andreas, Stig-gunnar, Silje, Elling and my "little" brother Tomas. The last one is not little at all, though he is younger than me, he is like twice my size in all angels not fat or anything, just twice as much everything, lol. We are very different on totally everything, but that makes it quite exciting. He does sports, I hate sports. I want to smash the system, he thinks it can work as it is, but acknowledge it isnt perfect but this we can work out through the channels alreaddy in function. He likes good drinks and spending while out, I hate longdrinks and coffee au lait, and go to the cheapest beer holes or work. I hate radio hits, he listen to them... and so on its endless:) But that makes it more interesting though...

On the stereo at the moment is the wedding present. Here from the latest album "take fountain" "interstate 5(extended version)" and "dont touch that dial(pacific northwest version)". I think the latest album is a bit tame after thier previous releases; judge yourself. Here are "daliance" and "corduroy[single version]" from "seamonsters".

Here's...

... some carissa's wierd for you ping; "september come take this heart", from "songs about leaving". Well I tried uploading more, but it seems ourmedia was too unstable to deliver this time also... If anyone know a more stable place to upload files, please inform me... This is too stupid; half the time it doesnt work.... Anyhow Ill try later....

Mr. energybomb...

...went ka-boom! Well, it seems Ive used all that x-tra energy my cells seemed willing to grant me last week... Totally drained and hung over as hell:( Not that weird if I look back at a rather eventful weekend.

Saturday was perfect, starting out slow with my failing lotteryticket, some rounds with Laura Veirs posters, then finally the serene maneesh concert... It was stuffed at blå, and the band delivered grand! The concert was better than the gig at Øya, but it didnt live up to the wet dream of a concert from last train, wich would be highly improbable... After that I ended up with Øystein and some girl he knew at my place drinking beers and testing wow.

Sunday went by quite eventless, except Marianne could inform me that I had bitten her pretty bad in the arm... Thought I had stopped doing that...

Monday it was working, and then Laura Veirs concert. Hooked up with Øyvind for a few beers, saw the concert and as time and beers passed everything merged into a drunkard kaleidoscope I cant seem to recollect... Hmmm... I think I had a good time:)

Today I woke up sitting in my bed with all my outdoor clothes still on, even boots and my pirate cap... Must have been a photo-opportunity for passers by, lol! Anyhow just missed a free trip to Denmark, and trying to pull myself together for work... Carissa's wierds on the stereo, here with "theyll only miss you if you leave" Enjoy!

Dont know...

...where it comes from, but the last days Ive felt like an energy bomb! Usually Im pretty lazy, but Ive felt like a firecracker ready to explode for days:) Been working both nights since last post, and it seems things got back to normal at work, not all that trouble, and on thursday it seemed to be more fun to be behind the bar than in front of it! Friday started with meeting the most beautyful girl ever, made me feel like a shy five year old brat, could hardly look her in the eye... But it all went swell:) Big mojo has come back, lol:)

On top of it, serena maneesh is playing at blå tonight, Im gonna win the lottery and become a millionaire, and hook up with Børre from the jam-tour. Perfect evening:)

Life is perfect!!!!! & warm thoughts to all:D

After two...

...days of jam touring, really boring this time as the kids were...uh...um..yeah right! Here we give them every opportunity to speak up for themselves, promote their desires or just do as they please; wich all turns out to be nothing... That is with a few exeptions off course. On every other school we have been to trough the spring and now the fall has turned out pretty fruitful, except this one... So, the hypothesis is that the drinkingwater of Lillehammer is contaminated with huge amounts of prozac and braincrumbling devices... If you ever go there; dont touch the water!!!

Right after the tour I went to work to be bandcontact at "you set the scene". Chimeria was playing a pretty good concert, as it merged somewhere between old school Buffalo Tom and Waxwing, even the vocals was abit Rocky Votolato'ish(singer in waxwing), but the band had never heard of either. Got pretty drunk as Ive been up and working for like ages... After the concert I met the "blind-date girl", as she came looking for me, and I think I promised to meet her next week, but for the second time I cant remember where and when:( This seems to be an issue on this "project"; first time I was supposed to meet her I got 30mins late wich she spended letting people in front of her in the restaurant line, second time I totally overslept and had to make some vile excuse about some burned cheese sandwiches and the firedept.(That one has actually worked out with two different girls...) Third time I forgot, and the fourth time I could not remember where and when. So this is the fifth... Cant see why she even bothers, and I dont know if I dare to call her and ask where I was supposed to meet her... The evening ended up with discussing some economic politics with a dork who wanted to get rich, by moneylending to poor people who would usually not get a loan. It seemed like a great idea at first, but as he kept on, it went more and more over to his personal dream of fame and riches, really huge asshole... And a friend of blind-date girl:)

Else in the news;"...the trade group Recording Industry Association of America last week sent out "cease and desist" letters to seven file-sharing groups". Well, fuck you RIAA!!! Your attempt to cencor your own custumers, and preventing them to actually get to listen to other artists than your high ranked britney crap, and other "artists" your greedy companies would like to create, "discover" and invest in to fill your own pockets. Go stuff your money up somewhere, count them or do what the fuck you like, but please stop spending them on lawyers to avoid people who actually have a genuine affection for good music to get in touch with it. Heres what happened to some of the attempts to threaten piratbay.org, and their answers(its hillarious:).... In your face:P

Eating noodles...

...and listening to Laura viers soothing voice, at the same time trying to have two conversations on sms and smoke and drink cofee and write this blog... Guess its the closest I get to ever being an office employee. Didnt get home from work untill nine after some discussions on prostitution with the guys at work, difficult issue wich never gets easier after a saturday night in the bar and a few beers after that... Had a hard time sleeping though, woke up every half hour falling back and back into a weird dream wich submerged the strangedays festival, work, me never getting the after work beer on some weird field with alligators and snakes eating eachother, and me trying to avoid eating either. Everything seemed to get fucked up in a way or another... Anyway, Ive taken the laundry issue seriously; Ive got one left, and everything is clean:) Even all my winterclothes... Its really turning into autumn here. Starting to get cold and the winds have arrived... I do not look forward to the winter...

Anyhow Laura Veirs is playing at monday the 26th at mono. A little teaser here with "rialto" from her new album "year of meteors".

Tomorrow Im off on tour again with the Jam project, and we are going back to Lillehammer...

Slow start...

...this morning... Been on the web learning some spanish swearing, wich will be a highly useful adon to my cv. Well it was mostly useful as I tried to boil my hand in a somewhat failed attempt to boil some soup for breakfast:(

Found this new band today; camera obscura. Well I thought I found a undiscovered album from the glasgow based band, but these guys came from san diego, and the album was pretty lousy, except from one song, wich rolls over and over again on my stereo; "cinematheque" from "to change the shape of an envelope"

Anyhow its laundry day(honestly this time), hook up with mathias, and then go to work at elleven:)

Hungover as...

...hell!! So there was no laundry yesterday, or today. Big plan for tomorrow as I got nothing clean left. The concert yesterday was kind of boring. Perhaps I have seen the band too many times. The fifth time this year. Or perhaps they sucked.... Hard to say. Just been sitting on my ass the entire day, watched "mission to mars", and played shitloads of solitaire. Last one is really disturbing, as the fact that I actually spends time on it really screams; -Get a life sucker!!! Well, Ill grab a beer and forget about the whole thing:)

Honey is cool is on the stereo. Ive had a hangup on them for the last two days. Its a really good swedish band, or rather was. The band has been on hold for a few years. Here they are with "georgia" and "tomato light" from the "focky focky no pay" album. Love the vocals, as they seem a merge between bjork, life without buildings, and pj harvey. Not a bad mix. This ones called "great and smaller things" and is picked from "early morning are you working". Perhaps a tint of Kate Bush in there... Sadly the vocalist is now in the too eightyish electro-dou called "the knife", wich is not worth lending an ear to... Anyway Honey is cool was a great band so enjoy.

About the solitaire thing; what if I could get like an antabus thingey on that one... A little pill to make me feel ill everytime I saw the interface of the game. That would be a step for mankind to produce:) And by the way; I heard that men could actually get milk in their titties... Damned I need a drink.....

Wednesday, September 14, 2005

Well, as the...

...last post was to test the page from another machine; I havent been able to access this page or my e-mail for a week of some weird reson. I planned to delete last post, but as there are some comments ill keep it online.

Election came upon us, and at last we got rid of that beardlacking fundmentalist, and for the first time in years we might have a goverment able to make decissions, not that I believe they will make much effort in making a change. Were still talking politrix here...

Most disturbing is the fact that frp got 38 of the 169 seats in parliament, wich is really terrifying. They are far right extreemists who are compaired to Jorg Haiders party in austria, berlusconis Italy, or le pens party in france. These velvet-facists have gained popularity only focusing on single cases like cheaper booze and gasoline(less to social welfare and culture), less crime(read; less immigrants, more surveilance, more cops, more to the military), and so on and on with rightwing close to facism bullshit. Im ashamed of my co-citizens after showing such bad judgment. You dont have to fuck people over to fill your belly!! Hope you choke on your easy solutions...

Else its been an eventfull week;
  • Work has been hellish, and alot of aggresive people among the clientel, five more or less voilent incidents in a week!!! It seems the seasons brings out the worst in people... PS: to all you scizos out there, please eat your medication or I will have to start working in a kindergarden or something...
  • On tuesday I worked as band contact, and helldorado played a pretty good concert. ; mind the lyrics;
"my wife cant cook,
aint got the looks,
my wife isnt worth a dime,
I wish she was anybody else but mine..."
  • On wednesday I opened at work again, and after my shift beatles(the guy) had arranged a tribute concert for the stranglers. 25 musicians on stage paying their homage, pretty good until one 130kg person jumps the stage and tries to rearange everything in a protest against a lousy(in his eyes) cover-version of one of his favourite bands. It took several guys to get him out, and a copule of mins to get the gig back on. Tired I headed home but ended up in a makeout session with an old "flame" at the nearest minibank. Dont know how clever that was as shes back to sending sms's....
  • Friday I saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen!!! It was gutter aid night in support for the danish gutter island festival. On stage where twistaroos, the moods, and a group of dutch dancers. Great night, lots of danes. They drank 4 litres of fernet branca on the trip here so most of them were out of conscience pretty early, except from this extreemely breathtaking girl... I think ill try that festival next year(drool!)
  • As I got the flu, and heavily feverish, job on saturday was cruel. I was pure autopiloting through the bar the entire night , too dizzy and high on fever, certain that I would faint anytime...
  • After the heavy saturday shift, I barred myself inside the entire sunday with world of warcraft...
  • Monday was get drunk with mum and an old friend of hers day. Discussing the election as the votes kept ticking in, and listening to old stories of my misbehaviour as a child. Mums friend told all kinds of stories about him babysitting me... Once we had been to the swimming pool, and I, walking on crutches at the time, had kept on saying -Hæstkuk! (means horsedick) over and over again. After 20 mins of this he got tired and said if I said it once more I would have to walk home... A sec went by and off course the word came out again:) So I had to walk home 2 kilometers on crutches... He said he had felt bad about that one ever since, but that I was a devil as a child. Believe it or not:)
Today is laundry day, and Im seeing Øyvind again:) Have been unable to reach him in denmark for awhile. Its cloroform concert again and a few beers after that seem pretty fit to me:)

Sunday, September 04, 2005

As yesterday...

...was pretty eventful at work, this morning is pretty slack. I managed for the first time ever to oversleep work at elleven in the night(!)... Dont know if that is a so far fetched thing to accomplish that I deserve a medal for originality or a heavy slap. Anyhow the tip was really crapy, and the clientel sucked big time...

Just had Lasse Spang for a morning visit, starting his 100% position tomorrow morning at a storage outside town, we had the last day-in-freedom cheer with a nice bottle of sacravite and some of that papa-tobacco before he had to return home. Soon Im going to a party with some guys from work, its "karsk & kaviar" at Kampen Bistro. Karsk is the norwegian drink containing about 40% moonshine, and 60% cofee, preferably after loosing temprature... Kaviar is caviar... Gonna be interesting. Cheers:)

Shaken and...

...well stired as I try to recover from the punk party at Barrikaden yesterday. Met up with loads of guys, and girls, I havent seen for a while, wich was really swell, but I had to much of that redwine me and robin drank before we went there so I had to call it a draw pretty early.

Havent been able to write(havent bothered would be more honest...) for the last week, as ive been alot online in the world of warcraft. Also tried to be a real slacker and get my sleep pattern on foot again as I had problems sleeping more that 4-5 hours a night.

Anyhow this weeks events;
  • Monday; erlend broke his foot, in a dramatic home accident at myplace; probably the stupidest thing Ive seen so far. He was going up from a chair and it looked like he just laid down on the floor, a few beers and art discussin later his ankle was totally swollen.
  • Tuesday; met up with mathias, who gave me a portable 1,5gb usb device for a too late birthdaypresent:) Thnx man, now Im able to rip music from work, and push it right into my computer. Joy to the world!
  • Wednesday; steped in on the opening shift at work, really calm day, but my free cigarettes, booze and beer-creditcard overrun 4000,- for the first time;( Well, it shouldnt be a problem as Ive worked alot in august....
  • Thursday; Met up with simon, and then went to whiskey-class at cacadou. The best whiskey Ive ever drank; -Lagavulin, 16yrs! Just cant get enough!!
  • Friday; Woke up with a vaugue taste of that extreemely grand whiskey. Its the first time I wake up with a smile after forgetting to brush my teeth before bedtime:) After that I went to pers. meeting at work, ripped a few cds, and met Linki and camilla, before heading to the concert...
  • Today; Pretty slack, just discovered that I had cigarettes:), and only one cup of cofee left:( Meeting mum afterwards.... Hopefully that paycheck has escaped those long wretched claws of the evil bankiers, and ended up on my shiney suits-free zone of the economy....

Well, elections are comming up but we havent really managed to do any actions against it yet... Which is kinda sad... Last parliament elections we managed to "smoke" out the entire "spikersuppa". Its a park aera in front of the parliament where all parties have stands to promote their cause, and give candy and propaganda to passersby. The action was named "fogtalk" where we dressed in white, with white banners, and hand posters with no message at all. Accompanied by a sad violin, and chanting, people were makeing non sence speaches and yelled slogans wich didnt make any scense either. We managed to terrify and amuse people as some politicians fled their election booths in panic, and other totally bewildred just froze unable to move or continue what they were doing. Check out the pic:)

Currently on the stereo is The 6th's "wasp nest" album. "Falling out of love (with you)" & "san diego zoo" should give a proper introduction to this band. They came out with "hyacinths & thistles" later, but it cant top "wasps nest" as its much more plain(boring?) than the first one, despite all the other artists guest appearing on every song. The Lapse is another band Ive recently "re-discovered". The songs "aerial" from their "heaven aint happening" album and "from destructive urges reason emerges" & "mentabolism" from betrayal is really worth lending an ear to. I just love toko yasudas(van pelt and blonde redhead) voice.

And I discovered that some people avtually bothers to link me up, so Ive linked you up to:)

My oh my...

...Ive been unable to access this blog for a few days, untill I tried to republish the entire blog; and ¤-vips!¤ its working again...
-Help, Ive got this itch in my fingers! wheres my blog!?!
Well, yesterday was kind of weird; starting out by waking up too early, wasting alot of time on rome-total war/total reality, and after washing clothes at work I ended up with Ronny, a photgrapher (ill give you the link if hes got one, saw his portofolio last night; awesome!) friend of Espen, on the Chicks on speed (here with "we dont play guitars") concert at blå. Was fun to be back again meeting all the people I used to work with, but havent seen in yonks... The concert was great too:)

Some other music for the day; Cloud cult`s "princess bride" & "as long as youre happy" from their "aurora borealis" album(2004). Heres "state of the union" as well, Cloud cults comment on the current american politics. its from the same album. While we're at anti-americanism you should check out protest records homepage, alot of crappy song but a handful good ones, totally free:) Pedro the lion also had something to say about the current us policies; "political science" from the latest "tour ep". Also found lots of nice bands today, and its not even noon yet:) Among these were this nice rock band; Calla. Here with their "strangler" from "televise", and dont miss the amazing pilots with "I dont know where you are" from "hello my captor". Mobius band with "you are wrong" from "the loving sound of static". Mark Lanegan`s "cant come down" from the "bubblegum" album. I also got my hands on this one; Anita lane's "sex o'clock". "The petrol wife" is grand, and "the next man that I see"... Plus the first "bella ciao"-version I liked since I was a small kid and my mom took me to all these communist gatherings she frequently attended. After finding all this grand stuff, I discovered that Maria Taylor of Azure ray ("these white lights will bend to make blue") has made a solo-album; "11.11". Here she is with "nature song", her voice is just perfect for a rainy day inside the head. After that I even found out that Orenda fink, marias co singer from azure ray, also came with a solo project; "Invisible ones". Its more rockish than taylor's album, but her voice is also outstanding. Here with "miracle worker". As this got me into Azure ray mode; ill give ya "new resolution"(TPSmix) from the "new resolution ep" & "while Im still young" from "burn and shine".

From todays media I found this:o These scientist ought to stuff their money up somewhere!

Sad news though; Emil's snickarboa has been burned to the ground. For those who dont know him; Emil is the figure from Astrid Lindgrens books. Shes also the author of pippi longstockings. Emil is a little kid who does alot of mischief and cool pranks to entertain himself to his suroundings (mainly his father) great annoyance(dont know if this is a word, but you get the message...). Anyhow, the snickarboa is the place he can lock himself inside, to hide from his fathers anger. Sadly someone decided to let it go up in smoke:(

Saw "orwell rolls in his grave" yesterday. Spooky stuff about the media, and its effect on politics in the us. Michael Moore had this really good statement that was something like this; ...we have a system that spends 99% of its energy and its money to serve the 1% richest persons in this country. Still you go round waveing your flags -we are free!-we are free! Whats wrong with you guys!?!" They also had some interesting points on the future of the internet... A must-see!

Later tonight Im working; its this "lucky strike-party"(!). Think its gonna be hellish, fucking commercial event with everything for free; free cigarettes, free bar, free promo-stuff, and free polluting your mind with our-brand-is-the-best-crap as they realease the original soft package. Perhaps we'll get some too... Anyhow, this may go two ways with the tip; 1) damned lousy as people dont bring their valuts to the bar...2) really good as people dont pay for anything else... Hopefully the latter... The Only cash I got is 1,- coins spread across the floor along with bottle caps, marbles, buttons etc(I aquired a new slingshot...) and some bottles for refund...

I downloaded this movie from piratbay... Its supposed to be a ghost of a little girl in there, but I cant see it... Ive tried over and over to get a glimpse, but I cant seem to fetch what this guy is so afraid of... Where the heck is it?

Damned I could...

...not sleep anylonger, even if Im insanely drowsy. Perhaps I slept to much yesterday, as I didnt get out of bed the entire day. So the day was spend in front of the computer, watching two hole seasons of simpsons, re-encoutered blade runner and barfly, and saw a weird "documentary" about ghost and encounters with these... Lazy day off:)

On monday the far right politicians from the so-called"democrats" got chased away from a central square in Oslo. After cutting the cable to their sound system, the parti-leader got bombed with eggs, and chased away under high yells "no racists on our streets!"

Vidar Kleppes party is extreemly hostile towards immigrants, especially non-western. Their latest absurd statement was that the government should uphold our home defence army (its a volunteer part of the military, where the soldiers keeps machineguns at home in case of war... ) to prevent an islamic invasion of norway wich they claim is going on. They are against rights for homosexuals, against abortion, extreemly pro-Israel (this is the weirdest statement as many of the partymembers have pasts from different nazi groups in norway...), and pro increased police budgets as a sollution to almost all problems in community.

In the last post, dcver, commented that he was against banning neo-nazis from demonstrating or take away their freedom of speech. To that I agree, I dont think laws will do anything good to the struggle against nazism or racism. I believe that people should use direct action and civil disobediance to chase these bastards from the streets. No one is satisfied in a community where right wing assaults and harassment becomes an everyday part of our lives. Neo nazis represents a constant threath to immigrants, homosexuals and different minded people, and then I think taking action for each other as individuals, and groups, to chase them away by any means necesary, is the only sollution.

Anyway, no music for today as theres some problems with uploading, but I got some for you later:) Gotta get more cofee and a shower. Working double again... I really need to hit them lottery numbers big time...

Well, the...

...brazilian guy who got executed on stocwell was not considered a threat... Its really sad, if its this guys responsibility to stop when the police wants him, they should be damned responsible themselves in both the situation, and the aftermath. Probably itll wind up with a inconclusive investigation, and/or some poor scapegoats head on a platter...

Court in france is trying to shut down paris IMC. It would be to much for a democratic community to have all these political activists useing open publishing, speaking their mind without the sencorship of mainstream media. Or not to speak of the fact that people are able to tell the stories in their own words, not competing the lies of police, beraucrats and politicians...

The annual nazi-march in rememberance of Ruculph Hess, was banned this year. The Neo-nazis then arranged a protest march against the bann, but "only" about 2000 showed up, last year there were several thousand. Other manifestations have been arranged in kolding(denmark), stockholm, magdeburg and several other places around europe.

Else here is a taste from the coming death cab for cutie album "plans". Release date is 30th of august. On my stereo at the moment is lenola with their "white lined knuckle landing", I also dug out this depeche mode cover from the tribute album "music for the masses"; heres failure with "enjoy the silence". Enjoy.

Just hanging out...

...in my bunker. Been here since I got home from work on wednesday, not moving a toenail outside. Think that was about time as I discovered some new muscles and nervestrings that constantly appears to get familiar with this not that tired and exhausted me. Was supposed to cean up this dunghole, go to the laundry and visit mathias yesterday, but I ended up with a cracked version of anno 1503, a season of seinfeld(and to my grand surprise it was kind of funny:o...I used to hate that series...), and ended up falling asleep watching "fantastic four". Which was not very good either... Rasputinas "watch tv" ought to fit now. Funny how managing boredom is easy when you are really tired...

-Me, just hanging out...

Some more songs for the day is my bloody valentine with their "off your face" from the glider ep and "when you sleep" and "soon" from loveless. I just keep coming back to that band. I also found an instrumental ep ive never heard before so heres "instrumental A".

Heres also two songs from pit er pats shakey album; "scared sorry" & "cake peg". I love the weird lyrics and twisted sound:)

As for the outside world british homesecretary states that there is no such thing as total security. And that an attack on main financial institutions are inevitable. Welcome to the world! If the main focus in western politics had been equality and fair sharing of resources, as they claim, and not to fuck less powerful/poorer people over to earn money and keep this present status quo up and running, it probably wouldnt be that many people finding it desireable to blow up themselves, or others for that matter....

Also I found this on the web, hmmm. I got this very same logo on my sweather;
-Shoulder of my hood...
Hehe... Perhaps wear it next time I go to germany. (Last time I was there I just sat on a bus from prague to oslo with my girlfriend and the bus got raided twice by police armed with machineguns, last time they only wanted to talk to me, and see my passport to "ensure" that I was still on the bus and not had got of inside germany... I feel so safe with these new surveilance systems!) The logo is from an argentinian direct action group called yomango. They did some really nice actions in argentina against companies earning money on the economic collapse a few years ago...

Well, enough bloging for today, got to clean up myself and the mess I produced for the last two weeks....
